Fire Warden Instructor

The Fire Warden Instructor Course is an instructor-level programme designed for individuals who are required to deliver Fire Warden and Fire Safety training within workplaces, organisations and training environments.

Fire Wardens play a critical role in fire prevention, emergency preparedness and evacuation management. This course is designed to ensure that those delivering Fire Warden training are not only knowledgeable in fire safety principles, but are also competent, confident and effective instructors who can train others to carry out the role safely and correctly.

The programme focuses on both fire safety knowledge and instructional delivery skills, enabling participants to plan, deliver and support Fire Warden training that reflects current legislation, recognised best practice and real workplace conditions. Emphasis is placed on practical application, scenario-based learning and effective communication, rather than theory alone.

Fire safety responsibilities covered within this course align with Irish workplace fire safety requirements and guidance published by the Health and Safety Authority (HSA), including employer and employee duties relating to fire prevention, emergency procedures and evacuation planning:

This is an instructor-level course and is not intended as a basic Fire Warden or Fire Safety awareness programme.
