Anyone aged 18 or over with a current certificate in the subject area and an interest in training others. Some courses may require work or healthcare experience.
Most instructor courses take 1–2 days to complete.
FAR and CFR Instructor courses include a supervised teaching session afterwards.
You’ll learn how to plan, teach, and assess your chosen subject, with practice sessions, micro-teaching, and feedback from experienced trainers.
You’ll receive a PSTC Instructor Certificate, and for medical courses (FAR, CFR-C, CFR-A), a PHECC-recognised qualification.

Yes. Once certified, you can deliver approved courses within your organisation or as an independent trainer, provided you have the correct insurance and equipment.
Complete a short refresher before your certificate expires and show evidence of teaching activity (for example, two or more courses in the past two years).
