The Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course from Philip & Son Training Consultants (PSTC) is a two-day practical instructor programme designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to train others in the safe mounting and use of abrasive wheels.
Abrasive wheels are commonly used in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance settings. However, if not handled correctly, they can pose a serious risk of injury. Irish regulations require that any person mounting an abrasive wheel must be trained and competent to do so. This course prepares instructors to meet those requirements โ and teach others how to do the same.
Participants will cover safety legislation, hazard identification, types of wheels, machine handling, and correct storage and inspection procedures. You’ll also receive a full instructor pack including slides, training materials, and sample assessments, allowing you to confidently deliver high-quality abrasive wheels training in your workplace or as an independent trainer.
