The BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to give nurses, doctors, and clinical staff the hands-on skills and confidence to act fast in cardiac emergencies.
You’ll learn up-to-date CPR, AED use, and emergency teamwork techniques, in line with international and Irish healthcare standards.
This course follows current IHF and HSE guidelines, covering adult, child, and infant resuscitation, safe AED use, airway management, and team-based response in clinical scenarios.
Participants will develop practical skills in high-quality CPR, choking management, and working effectively as part of a resuscitation team in hospital, community, and pre-hospital settings.

By the end of this course, participants will:

✅ Respond to choking and airway obstruction in adults, children, and infants
✅ Deliver effective rescue breaths using pocket masks or bag-valve-mask devices
✅ Work efficiently as part of a resuscitation team
✅ Apply current IHF and HSE guidelines in clinical scenarios
✅ Understand the chain of survival and when to escalate care
✅ Maintain confidence in delivering lifesaving support in healthcare environments
