The Cardiac First Response (CFR) Advanced Course provides participants with advanced life-saving skills in CPR, AED use, airway management, and emergency response for cardiac arrests, strokes, and choking incidents.
This Nationally-recognised course is designed for individuals who may be required to respond to pre-hospital emergencies in their workplace or community. Learners will develop advanced skills in bag-valve mask (BVM) ventilation, oxygen administration, and airway suctioning, preparing them for real-world emergency scenarios.

By the end of the CFR Advanced Course, participants will:

Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively

Manage airway obstructions, choking, and ventilation techniques

Administer oxygen therapy and suctioning

Recognise and respond to cardiac arrest, stroke, and medical emergencies

Understand the role of emergency medical services (EMS) and bystander support

Upon successful completion, participants receive a Cardiac First Response (CFR) Advanced Certificate, valid for 2 years.
