Cardiac First Response Advanced Instructor

The Cardiac First Response (CFR) Advanced Instructor course is a rigorous, hands-on instructor development programme for experienced responders and healthcare professionals who want to teach CFR Advanced to the highest standards. This course is built around the Education and Training Standard, blending a minimum of two days of focused instructional methods training with supervised teaching practice in real class settings.

Trainee instructors learn not only advanced clinical contentโ€”such as airway management, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and team resuscitationโ€”but also how to effectively present, demonstrate, assess, and provide feedback in line with Irish best practice andย  guidelines. Candidates will use officialย  training materials and must demonstrate their competence through real-world delivery and formal assessment before qualifying as instructors.
