This course covers ECG lead placement, basic rhythm interpretation, and recognising abnormal heart activity, ensuring compliance with HIQA (Health Information & Quality Authority) and HSE (Health Service Executive) guidelines.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in setting up a 3-lead ECG, recording heart rhythms, and recognising potential cardiac abnormalities, improving their confidence in monitoring patients in hospital, pre-hospital, and community care settings.
