Paediatric First Aid

The Paediatric First Aid Course is designed to equip parents, childcare professionals, and educators with life-saving skills to manage medical emergencies in babies and young children. This course covers essential CPR, choking response, wound care, and common childhood illnesses, ensuring confidence in handling emergencies.

This training follows Tusla guidelines and is ideal for anyone caring for children in a professional or home setting.

👉 Location: Available at our training centre or onsite for groups
👉 Certification: PSTC Paediatric First Aid Certificate (Valid for 2 Years)

This Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for:

By the end of the Paediatric First Aid Course, participants will:
✅ Perform CPR and AED use on infants and children
✅ Recognise and manage choking emergencies
✅ Administer first aid for wounds, burns, and fractures
✅ Respond to allergic reactions (Anaphylaxis) and seizures
✅ Manage fever, dehydration, and childhood illnesses
✅ Handle head injuries, poisoning, and other accidents

Participants receive a PSTC Paediatric First Aid Certificate, valid for 2 years.

⚠️ Note: This course does not replace the full First Aid Response (FAR) course, which is required for designated workplace first aiders under HSA regulations.
