Clinical Observations

The Clinical Observations Training Course is designed to equip healthcare professionals, carers, and support staff with the skills needed to accurately monitor and interpret vital signs, ensuring early detection of patient deterioration.

This course follows HIQA (Health Information & Quality Authority) and HSE (Health Service Executive) guidelines, covering temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pain assessment, and Early Warning Score (EWS) systems.

Participants will develop confidence in performing patient assessments, recognising abnormal readings, and escalating care appropriately in healthcare, home care, and residential settings.

👉 Certification: PSTC Clinical Observations Certificate (Valid for 2 Years)
