Our half-day Abrasive Wheels course is designed to give understanding and skills when employees have to work with abrasive wheels. Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at work act, an abrasive wheels training has to be completed when you are using, mounting or changing abrasive wheels in your job.
Anyone who wants to be trained and certified in the safe handling and changing of an abrasive wheel. this course covers you to be listed in your safety statement as trained.
On completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

- Abrasive wheel selection – testing and mounting of a new wheel
- Cleaning, inspection, labeling, and recording

- Theoretical examination
The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by a demonstration, practical tasks and assessment of individual skills.
Continuous assessment throughout the course. Students receive a PSTC Certificate on completion. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
